Computers 2 Kids (C2K) hopes you enjoy your refurbished technology.  In order to be a C2K technology recipient, you must agree to the following guidelines regarding usage of the refurbished technology.  Please read the following and complete the form below. / La organización de Computers 2 Kids (C2K) espera que usted disfrute de este equipo reciclado. Para ser un receptor de la tecnología C2K, debes estar de acuerdo con los siguientes lineamientos relacionados al uso de la tecnología reciclada. Por favor, lea la siguiente información y complete el siguiente formulario.

1. I agree not to sell this/these computer(s) for my personal gain or the personal gain of others.  If I no longer want the computer I am to donate it back to C2K. / Estoy de acuerdo en no vender este equipo(s) para mi beneficio personal o el beneficio personal de los demás. Si ya no quiero este ordenador lo donaré a C2K. 
2. I recognize that software provided on this system is protected by copyright laws, therefore: a) I will not make unauthorized copies of software found on the computer(s) by copying them onto any media or onto another computer through electronic mail or bulletin boards; and b) I will not give, lend, or sell copies of software found on the computer unless I have written permission of the copyright owner or the original software is clearly identified as shareware or in the public domain. / Reconozco que el software proporcionado en este sistema está protegido bajo las leyes de derechos de autor, por lo tanto: a) no copiaré ilegalmente los programas de la computadora (software) a través de ningún medio, de otra computadora ni por correo electrónico; b) no voy a dar, prestar o vender copias del software que se encuentran en la computadora a menos que tenga un permiso por escrito del propietario de los derechos de autor o el software original esté claramente identificado como shareware o de dominio público. 
3. I recognize that the computer(s) and technological tools are to be used as educational tools to support the mission of C2K, therefore:  a) I will not transmit any materials in violation of any International, U.S., or state regulations, including, but not limited to, copyrighted material, threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trade secrets; and b) I will not use the computer(s) to disturb or harass others by sending unwanted mail or by other means. / Reconozco que la computadora y sus elementos tecnológicos deben ser utilizados como herramientas educativas para apoyar la misión de C2K, por lo tanto, a) no trasmitiré ningún material que viole alguna ley internacional, de E.U. ni del estado, incluyendo, pero no limitado, a material con derechos de autor, material obsceno o amenazante o material protegido por secretos comerciales; y b) no utilizaré esta computadora para molestar ni acosar a otros a través de correo electrónico ni por ningún otro medio. 
4. I recognize that my name or image may be used for publicity purposes including, but not limited to, C2K website, newsletter, media print, radio and TV, and funding proposals. / Reconozco que mi nombre o fotografía podrán ser utilizados para propósitos publicitarios en la página web de C2K, boletines, medios impresos, radio y televisión, y propuestas de financiamiento. 
5. Use of the computer(s) is a privilege, not a right.  Violations of the guidelines described above will be dealt with seriously. Violators will lose their donated technology and may be prosecuted if appropriate. / El uso de la computadora (s) es un privilegio, no un derecho. Las personas que cometan una violación a las directrices anteriormente descritas serán tratados con seriedad. Los infractores perderán su tecnología donada y podrán ser procesados por un delito si corresponde. 
6. C2K computers include a 1-year free limited technical support warranty. The following is not covered: installation of new operating system or hardware, viruses due to adult only sites or software, Lime Wire Software, drops, falls, and other collisions, liquid spilled on or in unit, electrical surge, damage or broken LCD due to drop or fall, intentional damage, normal wear, cosmetic damage, fire damage, theft or loss. / Las computadoras de C2K incluyen una garantía de asistencia técnica limitada de 1 año gratis. Lo siguiente no está cubierto: instalación de un nuevo sistema operativo o hardware, virus debido a visitas a sitios para adultos o software, uso de Software Lime Wire, caídas y otros accidentes, derrame de líquido sobre o en el interior de la computadora, corto circuito, pantalla LCD dañada o quebrada debido a caída o golpe, daño intencional, desgaste normal, daños estéticos, daños por incendio, robo o pérdida.
